Oversees portfolio accounting and reporting for TIR’s non-U.S. clients

Specialist in alternative investment client accounting

Linda joined TIR in 2017 and is a certified public accountant (CPA) and chartered global management accountant (CGMA). She oversees portfolio accounting and reporting activities for the firm’s non-U.S. clients. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Linda’s primary responsibility is supporting the client accounting and reporting needs of TIR and TIR Europe’s non-U.S. clients. She works closely with TIR’s Forest Management and Investment Analysis Teams, as well as with external specialists, on financial reporting and analysis, accounting research and tax planning and preparation. She also has audit oversight and performance reporting responsibilities.

Linda joined TIR from TIAA, where she worked as an investment analyst in the alternative investment and real estate accounting groups. During her tenure with TIAA, she was most recently responsible for financial accounting and reporting for an $800 million timberland investment portfolio. Earlier in her career, Linda worked as Corporate Controller at Charlotte-based Robert C. Strickland Company, a food brokerage and distribution firm. She holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Indiana University; a BS in Finance from the University of Maryland; an associate’s degree in Business Administration from Montgomery College; and, is currently completing the Level Analytics “Boot Camp” at Northeastern University.
