Prior to joining TIR, Chris spent 12 years with the Reznick Group, PC, a top-20 national accounting, tax and business advisory firm known for its expertise in real estate and tax credit services. During his years with the firm, Chris worked in a variety of capacities and assumed increasing levels of responsibility. He began as an associate auditor overseeing the review and completion of financial statements for clients across various industries and progressed to senior associate auditor, a role that entailed managing client relationships, drafting financial disclosure documents, developing budgets and training audit staff. He eventually assumed the role of audit manager at the firm, directing the efforts of numerous audit teams responsible for servicing clients primarily in the commercial and residential real estate sector. Just prior to joining TIR, Chris was part of a team responsible for developing and monitoring strategies related to federal grants worth more than $13 billion for Reznick’s state government clients. Chris holds a BS degree in accounting from the State University of New York, College of Fredonia and an MBA from the University at Buffalo. He currently serves as the Chair of the National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries (NCREIF) Timberland Investment Committee.
