Over 600,000 acres of timberland managed by Timberland Investment Resources, LLC (TIR) have been certified to the Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI®) standard. TIR’s investment footprint spans 14 states, with a significant presence in the southeastern U.S.

The parcel includes prime timber property in South Carolina’s Chester, Fairfield, Kershaw and Lancaster Counties.

Dr Chung-Hong Fu, Managing Director of Timberland Investment Resources Europe, predicted: “The overhang of properties from 2007/2008 has been eliminated and we expect a recovery in the US property market in the next three years.
