Prior to joining TIR, Laura was Corporate Controller at A la Cart, Inc., a North Carolina-based manufacturing company. In that capacity, she was responsible for all of the firm’s financial management functions, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, auditing, cash and credit management and treasury operations. She also directed its human resource functions, including payroll, insurance and benefits administration. She began her career in financial management as an accounting technician at Medical University of South Carolina, where she managed budgeting and finance for its Department of Pathology. Laura is a graduate of the College of Charleston, where she earned a BS cum laude in accounting and business administration.
